I've lived in Sydney for over 50 years. We moved to the Gold Coast 3.5 years ago, generally speaking the quality and choice of restaurants and take away food in Sydney is so much better than the Gold Coast. In the past few months I've started driving Uber 3-4 nights a week, and I was definitely lucky to find SPK Orchid. I can only say that after trying every kebab around Cavill Ave, SPK is the best of best. Not only is their food always fresh and tasty, Yahya and the team always go above and beyond to make sure that all the customers get the best service. I have eaten there at least 4 times a week for the past few months and have never been disappointed. If you are looking for deliciously tasty, fresh quality food at a great price then do yourself a favour and give them a try you won't be sorry 😋 ~ Eran M

I had experienced kebab.pozza while living overseas in Sweden. I had a sudden craving of this pizza from many years ago. So I went on the hunt. I asked the lovely staff of I could create.my own pizza. They told me the prices and I asked if they would do me a kebab. It was made. Was it exactly like a Swedish kebab pizza. No but they did deliver on the order. It was delicious. My mum even ate it and she isn't a kebab person. I added my choice of salad to the pizza and it came out delicious. Note not all Swedish kebab pizzas come with salad on it but some do. So tops for them for making my order and helping me meet my food craving they did. ~ Elly W

At first, the cheese seems generous and the pizzas taste kind of fantastic... This place has the, hands down, best cheese analogue (imitation cheese) pizza in the universe; this means that every pizza tastes the same, due to the attempt to mask the bland, "cheese" flavour with excess oregano and the scarcity of protein toppings (chicken/meat/salami). In fairness, kids and I had a great deal of fun playing Where's Wally with the BBQ Chicken pizza and managed to find three (three) 5 cent canned chicken pieces in total in a sea of fake cheese, on a family pizza costing $24. The only issue is that the novelty wears off when you realise that the generous cheese offering is not real (google cheese analogue) and tastes like cheap Bunnings gap filler doused in oregano; other pizzas were the same and tasted the same. 5 stars for the business savvy in peddling this product to the public en masse, even seemingly fooling some "real chefs", by the reviews... ~ Azer H

First time ordering last night. The food was DELICIOUS..It was the best Kebab we've had in 16 years and that says alot, we ordered 2x Beef and Lamb Kebabs and both were fresh, well filled with yummy ingredients the meat was well cooked. 2x XL chips were some of the best chips also crisp outside, but soft in the middle the perfect kind of chips with enough chicken salt. They were so good. Staff were friendly and welcoming, very helpful and service was quick. Highly recommend this kebab shop, you won't be disappointed. ~ JieJie 6

We had dinner tonight and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Order: • Pepperoni Pizza: Just a slice, but it was packed with flavor and absolutely delicious. • Mixed Sandwich: Equally tasty, with fresh and flavorful ingredients. Highlights: • The food was excellent, with both dishes being delicious. • All items on the menu are halal, which is a great plus. • The staff were very polite and kind, making the experience even better. Surfers pizza and kebab's kebab is a benchmark in kebab and specially in pizza making. I was there with my son who was amazed by looking at the slice of their 15 inch pizza and also was eager how they can make so fresh pizzas so fast. The Employers and chef were so humble that they showed him and me their kitchen and which was so neat and clean keeping in mind tbe busy line of customers outside. I recently discovered this hidden gem of a kebab shop that serves amazing sandwiches at night. The prices are very reasonable, and the quality of the food is top-notch. The shop is located in the heart of Surfers. The staff is super friendly and always ready to help you with your order. They have a wide variety of sandwiches to choose from, and all of them are delicious. I particularly loved their Meat and chicken kebab sandwich, which was juicy and flavorful. The bread was fresh and soft, and the vegetables were crispy and fresh. The portion size was also generous, and I felt satisfied after eating it. Me and my family had a wonderful experience at the Surfers pizza & kebab at Surfers Paradise. The food was delicious, fresh and satisfying. The location was beautiful and close to the beach. The staff were amazing, friendly and attentive. They made us feel welcome and appreciated. The customer service was outstanding, they went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves kebabs, pizzas, grill and great service. It was a lovely treat! 😊 ~ S S

We are locals and just wanted to taste something different. We stopped at two shops but the staff here were so friendly. The lady who served us was so welcoming that I had confidence in her products. The take-away pizzas were selling like hotcakes and they had to quickly make more. They bake new ones the moment there are only two or three pieces left. We ordered a kebab and loaded chips with mixed meat. It was delicious with no dripping fat. It was fresh and tasty. I will definitely go there again. ~ Esta M

I haven't been able to have a kebab from here since December 2019. The last time we had one it was amazing so I wanted to report after my meal this evening that after everything that these guys have been through during lockdown,covid and lost of business. They are still the same guys doing a great job delivering delicious food at such a reasonable price.. so it there was ever a local business to get out and support its these guys. Its a shame to see so many vacant shops and restaurants on the coast since our last visit. ~ Shaun T

Best pizza I’ve had in Gold Coast. I’m a chef, and I’ve been striking out every pizza place I try cause it’s poor-average quality. This is the first place I’ve found that was amazing!!! Highly recommend it! Better than any other pizza place in GC! I ate the surfer’s supreme, amazing! On top of it all, it was a public holiday, the staff had long hard hours, and they still were so friendly and greeted me with such amazing smiles… I’ll definitely be back! ~ Jessica C

I'll miss this kebab place. The best tasting kebab shop in Gold Coast by far. The sandwich is literally full of meat unlike many other places. I ordered mixed kebab and I loved it, Generously portioned and the taste is unbelievable. I want everyone out there to go and try this kebab shop, you won't be disappointed. Generally in love. Rajiv is the best worker I’ve ever met and he was so accommodating. Story time. We arrived at the shop around 3:58am and the shop closed at 4am. We’d watched him finish cleaning up, told him we were starving, and this man with his heart of heart made HSPs despite his long and tedious shift. His commitment to his job reminded me of the hope that humanity can nurture. Thank you so much Rajiv, you king 👑 ~ David B

Legit the BEST and I mean BESTTTT kebab & pizza shop in the area! The workers are so nice, made my salad to perfection, added hummus to every piece of falafel! Pizza was delicious! Family reckons their kebabs were delicious also! So good! Will definitely be back when we are in the area again, may even come by for lunch tomorrow! Thank you for your hospitality & amazing food! I have been to alot of kebab shop but this kebab shop has utmost respect my life because theg dont lie to you like other kebab shops regarding their lamb and beef mix donor. I salute tbese guys to respect every religions sentiments. Also, they guided us to the vegetarian and chicken items of their menu amd was so delicious. Hope to see you guys soon!! I come here once every few days. They are one of the best kebab stores on the Gold Coast and I haven’t been able to find a HSP better than theirs. Their HSP’s are stacked with meat that is full of flavour and the chips are we seasoned, their kebabs are packed and super juicy with all the fillings you could want, all of their stuff is so affordable it’s hard not to come back again and again. ~ Joslin E

Upon arrival, there were no vegetarian options. However, the service we received satisfied the cravings. The mystery of whether we had paid or not really kept us on our toes. We ordered chips but luckily enough received a side of bants (FOR FREE!1!1). Our night would have not been the same if not for our fellAs at the kebab shop. Good vibe all round thank you. ~ Kira B

Surfers paradise may not be known for having the best food, but these guys stand out amongst the rest by consistently delivering on quality, customer service and value for money! We ordered their HSP and I’ve got to say it’s up there as one of the best HSPs I’ve ever had, I even ate it cold the day after and it was still good! Definitely visit these guys for a good feed ~ jade

Stayed in Surfers over the weekend and went to this place a few times are a night on the town. The Kebabs were amazing and the flavour was next level. Probably the best one I've had. The $5 pizzas were also great price if you needed a slice. Will be back next time I visit. Customer service also very good 👍 ~ Lewis A

Excellent kebab. The lamb was flavorful, the salad fresh, and the kebab was made with care and precision—holding together perfectly without falling apart. It had all the hallmarks of a great kebab: generous size, fresh ingredients, and rich flavor. On top of that, it was great value for money. Seb and Ari were a pleasure to meet. They wxceeded expectations and even wished the birthday girl well with a birthday song and making all orders in a timely manner.
